The number will be available to use from 9am on Friday 19th March 2010. The Freephone number will automatically be diverted through to our normal BT Telephone lines.

Households with a working G-rated boiler will get £400 towards the installation of an A-rated boiler or renewable heating systemToday the Government launches their Boiler Scrappage Scheme where you can claim £400.00 off the cost of a new boiler.
B Bowden and Company Limited reach all the criteria as a GasSafe Installer and OFTEC installer to be able to fit a new A-rated boiler under the Boiler Scrappage Scheme.Â
DETAILS OF THE SCHEME CAN BE FOUND BY CLICKING HERE
Vouchers can be obtained from the Energy Saving Trust. Once the new A-rated boiler has been installed, send off your invoice from B Bowden and Company along with the voucher and Energy Saving Trust will send you £400.00.

B Bowden and Company Limited is one of the latest group of successful companies to join a leading edge scheme, designed to help industry improve its safety record.
We recently received Accreditation from SAFEcontractor, a programme which recognises very high standards of health and Safety practise amongst UK contractors.
The company's application for SAFEcontractor Accreditation was driven by the need for a uniform standard accross the business. Under the SAFEcontractor system, businesses undergo a vetting process, which examines health and safety procedures and their track record for safe practice.
Those companies meeting the high standard are included on a database, which accessible to registered users only via a website. Employer-organisations who sign up to the scheme can access the database, which enables them to vet potential contractors before they even set foot on site. These employers agree that, as users of the scheme, they will engage only those who have received the accreditation.
Over 100 major nation-wide businesses, from several key sectors, have signed up to use the scheme when selecting contractors for services such as building, cleaning, maintenance, refurbishment or electrical and mechanical work.

VAT CHANGE

From the 1st January 2010, VAT will be charged at the old rate of 17.5%.
Liza Bradley will change the Bright account system on the 1st January 2010 for invoices, but for quotations please make sure that any figures have the changed VAT rate from the 1st January 2010

IT'S NOW OFFICAL!!
B Bowden and Company have now achieved there second quality standard out of the four quality standards required. We now hold ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 under our belt, B Bowden and Company are now working towards their third quality standard ISO 14001 which has been confirmed by Certified Quality Systems Limited that this will be achieved some time in October 2009. A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL STAFF!!
